more info at the website: www.pcg.org Our church has been in Ukiah since 1955 with some of the original members still present. People who have been here through the years and my own opinion state that this church is all about "REVIVAL". There is a longing here for the manifest presence of God. CWC feels a burden to go out into the highways and byways of Lake and Mendocino counties and compel people to open their hearts to a gracious Fathers love. We believe that love is never more evident than in the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ. We pin all our hopes on HIs promises and in the assurance that when He said, "It is finished", that everything necessary to be done for our salvation was there accomplished. We have 5 Core Values that we believe we are called to manifest to the world and one another. They are: Liberty, Identity, Grace, Honor and The Goodness of God. Inside these we find ourselves looking for a representation of Jesus Christ to the world that meets His example. We are unashamed of this gospel message...That God LOVES People and is Chasing them with Passion. We feel called to be a regional outpost for other bodies and ministers from other churches to come and be filled, prayed for, blessed and loved; and then return to their various works. We know we are not for everyone. Our music is very upbeat and we take worship very seriously. People here enjoy a high level of freedom in worship and we are open to all who seek to worship the Father in spirit and truth. We have a tremedous affection for Gods Holy Word the Bible. We preach it, teach it, and to the best of our ability live it. We know however that it is there to bring us into relationship. Our desire is to know God intimately and authentically. CWC believes in Divine healing. That God is willing and able and that everything was paid for us to enjoy much of what we forfeit so often. We believe the "Time is Now!" and there is no tomorrow in which to pin our hopes to do something for God. We live to glorify God. If you are looking for "safe" church or church as usual...keep looking. We are here to make a mark for the Kingdom of God and fulfill His great commission. Yet if you need prayer you are very welcome to come and receive it. |
